When most people picture a kidnapping, they probably envision someone in a mask and hood throwing them into a car and driving away.


What they likely *don’t* picture is a kidnapping that occurs entirely by accident — but that’s exactly what happened to this woman in Brazil.


In the video, a woman can be seen walking toward a closing garage door. Thinking slowly, she decides to move into the garage rather than away from it — effectively trapping her inside until whoever closed the thing returns.



According to the Daily Mail, this video was taken in Goiânia, Brazil back in 2019. The woman in the video was allegedly then stuck in the garage for about an hour until someone came by sweeping the streets, whom the woman was able to signal and explain what had just happened.


We’re just happy to hear that the woman is alright — hopefully next time she’ll be a little more careful around open garage doors.
