These days it's expensive to buy even the cheapest performance cars. But back in the '70s? Four wheels, some displacement, and some horsepower came easy. 


$3,500 in 1970 is equivalent to just over $28,000 now. Pretty cheap for cutting edge muscle cars. And if you kept one in pristine condition, you're sitting on a small fortune now. 


Here are 10 muscle cars from the 1970s and what they're worth today.
