A lot of "modern brands" have been around for longer than we realize, going through design overhauls and facelifts as times change.
These 20 brands were all with us in the 1970s, and are still around today. You probably know what they look like now, but here is what they looked like back then.

Julius Pringles definitely got a facelift. -

I’d say their modern blue works better than this brown. -

Before the daredevil days. -

A guide to all their cans, concluding with the 1976 version. -

You could even buy it in a jug. -

And one of its offshoot products, Spoon Candy. -

“Built Tough” originated in 1977. -
17. Panasonic Ad
For color TV. -
18. Dairy Queen
Originally a takeout stand, this store was in Atlanta in 1975. -
19. Cheerios Box
Featuring the Muppets in 1979. -
20. Tupperware
A brand so powerful they changed language.
