20 Times Architects Very Clearly Lost Their Minds

Some people were able to inject their insanity into buildings.

By Neill Lynskey

Published 1 month ago in People & Lifestyle

Architects have firm guidlines and codes they have to follow, even if it looks like they didn't. That's how some have brought their insane, way-beyone-outside-the-box ideas to life.

The Little Crooked House in Poland looks like a surrealistic melting sculpture. The Kansa City Public Library is meant to resemble gargantuan books stacked next to each other. There’s even a giant elephant in New Jersey that you can book a room inside of.

Witness the work of architects who got to go for it and didn't miss their shot.
