They say that the first step in solving a problem is recognizing there is one, but unfortunately, far too many people are in denial about some of society's biggest issues. Taking to Ask Reddit, these 20 people shared the "truth pills" that too many people have a hard time swallowing.
Misinformation and propaganda are very serious issues, both on the internet and in the daily news. Be it Fox, MSNBC, Prager U, or NowThis, it can be hard to discern the news from the spins. Especially with a critical election approaching, the American people need to be able to trust the information they're getting, and that's just currently not the case.
Global warming is one of these truth pills and the impact has been chaos to Florida's housing market as the state has become virtually uninsurable. An issue that will only get worse as time goes on. It might be a tough pill to swallow, but we're already too late to fix it.

Recycling is a sham propelled by the plastics industry. The solution is to stop using so much plastic, not say "oh well I'll recycle it"as the vast majority of recycled trash isn't actually recycled. The plastics industry has spent millions for Americans to have this mentality that it's okay as long as we recycle.
