21 A.I. Slop Photos Found on Your Grandparent's Timeline
If you've spent any time on Facebook recently, you'll know that it's filled with pages dedicated to A.I.-powered engagement farming, and for whatever reason, many of them get hundreds of thousands of likes and shares. The Twitter page @FacebookAIslop has shared hundreds of such posts.
Phrases like "Why do photos like this never trend?" and figures somewhat resembling Jesus seem to do really well with the algorithm. Even though closer examinations of those images usually reveal some serious nightmare fuel. "Scarlett Johansson," the kiss emoji, and "Beautiful cabin crew" are also inexplicably used over images that have no relation. But algorithms wouldn't post those things if people weren't clicking them, and for some reason, our lead-poisoned grandparents keep doing so.
Here are 21 bits of A.I. slop that are probably all over their pages.
