22 Facebook Posts and Memes From Our Cooked Grandparents
It's no secret that the elderly aren't always the most adept at the internet, and that's ok. Nobody is expecting Grandma to open Python and whip up some lines of code. But somehow many of them have figured out how to post memes - albeit poorly - and their sense of humor typically leaves something to be desired. And that has nothing to do with the internet!
Maybe it's because comedy used to be done differently, or maybe it's because memes are a novelty, but either way the difference in generational internet funnies is huge. C'mon, at the very least they've been reading New Yorker comics for years!
Facebook has become the platform of choice for most of our elderly relatives, and if you scroll for long enough you're bound to uncover one of them eventually. This gallery is a collection of some of the very worst, yet somehow they were funny enough to end up on a feed. And yet they are the ones who claim we're ruining media with snowflake tendencies. How about you stop commenting on A.I.-generated engagement farm posts papa?
