When I was a kid, I never understood the allure of classic cars. Why would you want something that's obsolete?

But now that I'm older, it all makes sense. Not only are older cars simpler, more functional, and oftentimes more reliable, but they represent the poster you had on your wall as a kid, and the aesthetic of your formative years will always represent times when things were "better."

These 23 classic cars are just flat-out cooler than what we've got on our roads today, and it's a shame their companies stopped making them.
