We all love to laugh at our older relatives and their online presence, but they definitely take themselves very seriously. Part of that seriousness translates into their questionable memes, which typically involve hating their wives and making fun of children for trying to "swipe books." Between that and their infamous "just asking" format, they definitely think their "deep" memes are doing something. They're not. 

Take one that describes the plot of TheLion King. "Remember in the Lion King when Scar cheated to win the title as king? And all of the lions lost everything? Just asking. No reason." We understand what you're trying to do there Tara, and it's not very deep. If you want to use a Disney movie as an allegory, at least make sure you have your facts right first.
