As Tom Brady learned the other week, being on the receiving end of a roast isn't fun. But it is funny. 

These 23 people found that out the hard way and got hit with some hot burns before they had the chance to prep the ice pack. 

Shaquille O'Neal – a known jokester –  is no stranger to getting teased on TNT's Inside the NBA, but when he took to Twitter to post a photo of his new yacht, the comment section showed up jokes that would make Charles Barkley cry. Shaq is a famously bad free throw shooter – a sore subject for him to this day – so commenters suggested he name his new boat "free throw." That way he'd have the smallest chance of sinking it. 

Just be thankful the roasts weren't aimed at you.
