It's no secret that the older generations struggle to use technology, and that's ok. They didn't grow up with it like so many of us did, and it can be hard to teach an old dog new tricks. Still, that old dog shouldn't try to bite your hand off when you try or attempt to convince you that there is a secret society of dog trainers that could do a more effective job. 

What I'm trying to say is that far too many older people seem to be seriously lacking the wisdom and common sense that is supposed to come with age, and whether it's lead poisoning, undiagnosed mental issues or just general disgruntledness, no place does that manifest more than online. You can spot a "boomer" post on Facebook from a mile away - even though they don't seem to be able to - and although those posts are sometimes terrifying they can also be quite funny.

When grandma posts her Google search into her Facebook status, or tweets her shopping list, you can't help but giggle. But when grandpa posts that he "doesn't approve of Meta stealing his data," or that a politician is the anti-Christ, you might need to stage an intervention.
