The baby boomers own quite a reputation for being greedy, angry, and generally selfish in every way. After all, this is the generation that spiked the cost of living, sliced regulations, and now want to spend their massive inheritances before their children get their needy fingers on it. "If only kids these days knew how to work..."
But back in the '60s and '70s the baby boomers fought for gay rights, protested the Vietnam War, and indulged in the devil's lettuce on their hippie communes. Not to mention creating the entire punk rock scene. So what gives? In short, the 1980s, Ronald Reagan, and Fox News.
