I must admit, I'm a city boy. Aside from a few trips to corn mazes on summer breaks growing up, my mind is as far away from the country as a Times Square billboard. I acknowledge that there are some things I will never understand about farmland living, but thanks to this list from the rural folk of Ask Reddit, I know a little more than I did before. 

"Deer. It's always deer." That's what one commenter had to say about the countryside, and he received over 18 thousand upvotes for his observation. I knew there was severe deer overpopulation, but I never realized how bad it was. For every single noise you hear, there's "probably still a deer involved somehow."
