Just like Darth Vader tells Director Krennic in 2016's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, "Be careful not to choke on your aspirations."

It's good advice, whether you're trying to scheme your way through the game of life, or design a fully armed and operational battle station. 

The people in this gallery all choked on their aspirations by flying a little too close to the Sun. A good idea is a good idea until it backfires and you get burned. Still, these folks deserve some credit for trying.
