24 Tinfoil Hat Conspiracy Theories That Some People Believe
Believing in conspiracy theories is typically frowned upon, but most people have some kind of exception to the rule. The government has a history of doing some pretty shady stuff, and depending on the theory, many are definitely in the realm of possibility. These 24 people decided to share the conspiracy theories that they truly believe are fact.
One of the biggest scandals in American history involved our 42nd president Bill Clinton, and an affair he shared with his 22-year-old intern, Monica Lewinsky. The scandal rocked the White House, and Clinton denied his actions until the truth was indisputable, and he was subsequently impeached for perjury. A man who was one-half of one of the world's premier power couples was now exposed as a cheater, and the scandal followed Hillary Clinton all the way through her failed presidential runs. But what if Bill wasn't doing anything wrong at all?
"It’s very rare you hear of top politicians getting divorced, especially a power couple like them," one person wrote. "Maybe they did love each other when they were younger but as they got older and more famous they stopped caring about each other." It's possible that Bill and Hillary developed an open relationship, with each regularly on the road and unable to spend significant time together. "Infidelity was easier for the public to stomach than a swinging president and First Lady." That's a conspiracy theory I'd buy.
