25 TVs That Were Hung Too Dang High
Watching TV has been an integral part of the American experience for a long time now. But while watching the Lions lose to the Packers on Thanksgiving has replaced sitting down around the fireplace, that doesn't mean your own personal IMAX system should be mounted ON TOP of said fireplace.
The subreddit r/TVTooHigh is a place devoted to spreading awareness that television sets around the country are mounted too dang high, and necks everywhere should not be hurting as much as they are. TVs are not pictures, they are not decorative pieces; they are not meant to be looked at briefly while providing atmosphere to a living room. They are meant for extended viewing and therefore should be hung at a height conducive to that purpose.
It's easy to fall into the trap of the overly mounted TV, but some too-tall-TV offenders in this gallery are ready to host their own special party of giraffes. There's a reason dads everywhere are standing to watch their family's shows, and it's not because they're busy: The TV is too dang high!
