Video games are popular because you get to feel like you’re doing something dangerous and insane. Every time we play Mario, Zelda or Minecraft we’re really just fantasizing about jumping between deadly heights, fighting with a sword, and… looking for minerals or whatever. They’re an escape from our incredibly boring day-to-day.

But for some people, video game danger is just what they do for a living. Platform jumping feels like it’s completely made up for games, but the workers at the Russian satellite center do it every day. Some guys make swords, make their way across rickety bridges, or shoot stuff from the sky.
