1977 brought us the first movie in the most successful film franchise of all time, and as people lined up around the country to see it, they knew they were in for a good time.

The late '70s were a time for letting loose, (if you were lucky enough to have the means to do so), and many folks put '77 smack dab in the golden age of life in this country.
