Duolingo killed their owl, marking another stupid marketing ploy death that companies do whenever they’re bored. Mr. Peanut died in 2020, Family Guy killed Brian that one time, and Game of Thrones made an entire franchise out of this stunt.

Luckily, there are some people who are calling out Duolingo for not just doing a commercial like a normal company.
