Long before Taco Bell became synonymous with fuzzy 3 a.m. Baja Blasts and McDonald's with decreasingly cheap late-night burgers, they were just fast food joints jockeying for position in the throw-the-trash-out-the-car-window 1970s, a pair of restaurants that offered decent service with a smile ... and some seriously questionable uniforms.
