The U.S. is (maybe) currently being invaded by aliens. This is surprising as it is, but the weirdest aspect is where the aliens have decided to start their campaign. In almost every sci-fi movie, aliens land in New York City, Los Angeles, or a cornfield in the Midwest. But just as we might expect with beings who don’t know a ton about our world, they chose one of the states a lot of people don’t even want to drive through. The aliens are above the great state of New Jersey.

In reality, these are drones, or a new kind of aircraft possibly being tested by the government over the Garden State. But the conspiracy theories are driving the residents of Jersey crazy, with some people just posting pictures of planes, stars, and helicopters and claiming that a sci-fi end is near. 

Here are some tweets and reactions roasting the folks of NJ, because the locals are probably reacting with a classic Italian-American “Ohhhh!,” and that gets boring after a while.
