If you’re anything like me, horror movies make you run in the opposite direction. For all you fellow scaredy cats, I have a unique solution to seeing these iconic horror movie franchises; goofy behind-the-scenes photos.

While filming some of the most iconic scenes in scary movie history, our favorite monsters and serial slashers had downtown where you can see them eat, smoke, and play around with their fellow costars/victims. If you’ve been procrastinating watching the IT movies, then these photos of Tim Curry solemnly smoking while holding an umbrella and Bill Skarsgard cheesin’ with his child costar will be the salve to heal your frightened wounds. Apparently, Freddy Kruger was down with the kids on the set of Nightmare on Em Street, kicking back on a skateboard and listening to tunes on a Walkman.
