Really, it’s just a guarantee that your awkward phase will be immortalized in a book forever. Shelves everywhere are full of kids who only get one chance to look presentable and end up blinking, sneezing, or just… looking weird. But occasionally, a confident kid takes a risk, and that’s hilarious.

These are kids who didn’t back down when sitting in front of that sky-blue backdrop. They’re showing up with the most insane haircuts, outfits, and smiles, looking straight into the lens and owning their look. There’s also some cool teachers who got creative with it, probably taking advantage of missing the opportunity during their student years.
