Everything started with an unprecedented day of Aurora Borealis viewing, and people as far south as Pennsylvania were snapping pics of the northern lights from their backyards. Then, the much anticipated Atlas comet made its pass by Earth, and people flooded the internet with even more fun photos of the sky.
