It's honestly crazy that the British conquered everything. They excelled at warfare, politics, murder, and oppression of all kinds. It sort of makes sense that they’re awful at cooking. The thing everyone needs to survive - which at its best is delicious, nurturing, and generally nice - is the one thing the Brits always failed at. And this nauseating tradition continues to this day.

If you ever see a British meal that looks delicious, it’s stolen from a different country. The highlights of British cuisine are Indian and Pakistani foods. 

Take a look into the colonizer's kitchen, and begin to understand that they conquered not for riches or prestige. They conquered because they desperately needed a new menu.
