Look, construction work is insanely long, physically taxing, and complicated. We want all our houses, schools, and roads built or fixed as quickly as possible, so we’re not against a few safe shortcuts to make it happen. But sometimes the shortcuts construction workers take almost seem more complicated than just doing it right. But they’re admittedly hilarious to look at.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is technically dedicated to making sure everything is safe and running right on job sites. But after looking at these pics, they really seem more like a force dedicated to stopping perfect comedic moments in the field of construction. 

We’re nervous for these guys, but as lovers of stupid, funny pics, we’re glad OSHA turned a blind eye to some of these setups.
