The 2024 Paris Olympics have ended, and the medal count completed. China and the U.S. tied for first with 40 gold medals a piece, with the tiebreaker going to the United States. 

The last two weeks of competition have been a whirlwind of memes, fails and controversy. And as all good things do, it ended, but not before Tom Cruise jumped out of an airplane.
