Alexandria Vera, a 24 year old middle school teacher from Texas is accused of sexually assaulting one of her 13-year-old student over the course of several months.

The student’s family is also under investigation by Child Protective Services for supporting their relationship.

The teacher has been put in custody and is facing a felony charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child with a minimum sentence of 25 years and up to 99 years in prison, according to Texas law.

However, Vera has had an abortion when Child Protective Services came to her asking questions about her pregnancy.

Vera claims that their relationship was supported by the family of the boy and when she got pregnant they were very excited about the news.

The student reportedly also spent numerous nights at her house and were intimate on a daily basis.

“[The student] like grabbed her butt and everybody saw it. And then they were talking about it,” one pupil said.

Apparently, their relationship started in September of last year and they made little effort to hide it.
