The world is producing some pretty fascinating images at the moment, be they the orange skies in Greece, or the controversial university protests across the United States. But those are just present-day pics, and people have been taking cool and informative photos since the camera was invented back in 1816. You can check out just a few of those in this fun gallery.

At some point, everything comes to an end, especially in business. That was true for Pontiac, a division of General Motors that was responsible for some of the brand's most iconic vehicles. They produced their last car, a G6, in 2010. That car can be seen here along with the team of people who made it. Between Pontiac, Holden, Oldsmobile, Saab, Saturn, Hummer, and Opel, we've lost plenty of fantastic GM offshoots over the years. I guess you'll just have to buy a boring Chevy now.
