The Oscars have come out with its nominations for 2024 before the March awards show, and while many actors and directors deservedly made the cut, there are some notable omissions. Margot Robbie was one controversial "snub," and many Barbie fans are angry that the current People's Choice Award leading movie wasn't more heavily represented. But while Barbie presents more as a comedy than the type of emotional drama the Oscars usually go for, Robbie's co-star Ryan Gosling did get the nod for best supporting actor, and best song. The irony that the man was the one nominated in a movie about feminism was not lost on the internet, and plenty of memes followed. 

His wife Eva Mendes however, took to social media and praised her husband for his achievement. She even shared screenshots and "receipts" of doubters criticizing Ken's look before the movie premiered.
