History has a way of repeating itself. The first time as a gag and the second time as a goof.
In this installment of history pics, they didn't show you in school we have doomed aircraft being born, doomed siblings of future presidents, and Christmas snaps that might just make you nostalgic for the past.
Starting with the doomed aircraft; isn't it wonderful how things used to be made? With so sense of "safety" and little to no trepidation in completing the impossible, pictures of New York City during the early 1900s make you question whether we'd be able to accomplish now what they did (we're looking at you California).
