The Emmys were good but it's a shame that only five people watched it. Yet what people did notice about the television award ceremony was a peculiar green figure lurking behind all the A-listers on the red carpet. 

Now for all you confused, I’m here to tell you that that is not a green creature, that’s a drag queen. Princess Poppy, who competed on season 15 of RuPaul's Drag Race, arrived at the awards with the rest of the gorgeous queens of her cast doing the best trolling of her retired drag career. Fun fact, Princess Poppy announced during the reunion episode of Drag Race that she was “quitting drag.” Since then she has come out of drag retirement specifically to be a complete troll.

As Rupaul accepted the Emmy for Best Reality Show, he addressed the political controversy facing Drag and asked the audience to “listen to a Drag Queen” as Princess Poppy clomps onstage dressed as everyone's nightmare.
