For example, you better not lie to your mechanic about the last time you changed your oil. Judging by some of the posts here, they can tell right away if you're lying. (The gross goop seeping out of your car doesn't help your case.) They also won't hesitate to judge your car, your motoring decisions or your weird requests; even if they keep those judgments to themselves.
