Mechanics Sharing Photos of Their Ridiculous Customers

Properly taking care of a car requires diligence, attentiveness, and proactivity; three traits each generation seems to struggle with more and more.

Properly taking care of a car requires diligence, attentiveness, and proactivity; three traits modern humans seem to struggle with more and more as each generation passes. People these days just don't know how to take care of their cars, and as a result, mechanics are left fielding some pretty weird complaints.

The Just Rolled Into the Shop subreddit is a place where mechanics come together and share the good, the bad, and the ugly of what just rolled through their doors. From wheels hardly connected to their tires or their cars, to rust so bad it looks like desert sand, these rides need some fixing. We decided to collect some of these mechanics' most wild problems, and hopefully they'll inspire you to go and get your routine maintenance. As one mechanic captioned a photo of a pristine engine with over 300k miles, "oil changes work, folks."
