One photo here shows Marilyn Monroe on her first wedding day in 1942. The movie star was only 16 at the time, and was marrying her high school boyfriend James Dougherty. We know a lot about her future high-profile relationships, but this one helped her stay out of the foster care system. Unfortunately her marriage to the future LAPD officer only lasted four years. After that, the rest is history.
