'They Can't Keep Getting Away With This': 26 Egregious Examples of Shrinkflation

Inflation is one of the biggest issues facing the global economy. Prices are going up across the board, be they for necessities like food and gas, or luxuries like a nice stack of Pringles potato chips. But while Biden's overly broad stimulus, Putin's invasion of Ukraine, and lingering covid supply chain issues have come together to create a perfect storm of demand over supply, companies are doing their part too by gauging the ever-loving snot out of us. 


Who knows which industries have really been impacted by the above influences? Why not just raise prices anyway and force people to call you out? What a surprising turn of events. 


Nobody likes when their favorite product raises its prices, and in order to save face, plenty of companies have decided to keep their prices stagnant while increasing profit margins in a different way: Shrinking the product. This so-called "shrinkflation" is rampant, and people have caught on to the shorting aforementioned Pringles can, or slimming toothpaste tube. Well, you know what?
