Shoutout to whoever built that car!
The opening round of the Kennol GT Endurance Cup kicked off on Sunday, with drivers battling through a demanding four-hour race at France’s Paul Ricard circuit. While everything went smoothly at the beginning, things took a turn when driver Sebastian Lajoux hit former F1 star Tiago Monteiro, launching his car off the track and into the barriers.
Although the cameras soon cut away fearing the worst, Lajoux somehow emerged totally fine, though the race itself was red-flagged and stopped, only to be resumed an hour later.
A car crash at a car race — who woulda thought?
