When all else fails, just throw your gun at it, I guess.

Drone warfare has dramatically changed modern day combat. While bombing in previous generations required significant air cover, now, one can simply fly a drone into an enemy area and, unless their detection equipment is state-of-the-art, go largely unnoticed until it’s too late to do anything about it.

If you actually manage to catch a drone before it’s delivered its payload, there’s not much you can do besides attempt to shoot it down. These guys tried to do that, and when that failed, one did a Hail Mary and just threw his gun at it.

Unbelievably, it worked.
