A lot of people are saying this reminds them of the movieCandyman, in which the protagonist visits a housing projects and discovers a creepily empty apartment behind someone's bathroom mirror.

Only difference is the apartment in the movie is dirty as hell and this one just looks like it's being renovated. She should just start hanging out in there until the landlord finds out.
