This time, it’s a capybara.

This time, it’s a capybara.
Around the world, the police don’t exactly have the *best* PR. Some of this is brought upon themselves (it turns out you can’t kill a few innocent people without the public getting mad at you). However, some of this is just because the job of the police involves occasionally being a party pooper, and no one likes the guy who’s bringing an end to the good times, regardless of their illegality.
As a consequence of this, police departments frequently pour a substantial amount of money into efforts to get the public on their side. This can include spending $34,000 on a lip-sync video or, in the case of Peruvian police, doing filmed raids dressed in costume.
They already did one dressed as the Grinch, and now, they’ve done another one, this time dressed as an adorable capybara.
