Somehow, the makers of The Sims convinced them to really do this.

There was a time when The Sims was everywhere. People couldn’t get enough of the idea of living a fake life on the computer. And as kids, there was truly nothing better than placing your Sim in the pool and deleting the ladder, or removing all toilets from the house so that your character peed themselves to death.

Thinking back, maybe we shouldn’t have had access to this.

Anyway, one oft-forgotten part of Sims lore is that, for later versions, they had music playing recorded in “Simlish,” the fake language used by characters in The Sims. Unbelievably, these weren’t recorded by soundalikes — the actual musicians came in to record their Simlish tracks, and the results are pretty funny.
