25 Compelling Illustrations of the Power of Time
Time has the power to both destroy and heal, and it's up to us what we use it for. But no matter what, things and places will change over time, and there's nothing we can do about that. These compelling photos illustrate the power of time, and how places and things have morphed with it. Cities have grown and collapsed, technology has developed, and dog breeds have been genetically selected into what they are today.
One photo here shows Chichen Itza, the location of a Mexican pyramid, over one hundred years ago and today. We're used to seeing ruins as broken-down stone, but we often forget that they are completely overrun until we attempt to restore them. In 1892, the pyramid was nothing more than a massive hill of dirt, moss, and grass.
See that pic and others that show the power of time and humanity right here.
