Humans are supposed to have a self-preservation instinct, but sometimes that instinct is trumped by overwhelming stupidity. Taking to Ask Reddit, 28 people decided to share the dumbest way they've ever heard about somebody dying, either in their own life or from the news.
Even more important than your own safety is the safety of your child, but unfortunately many parents seem to struggle with that concept in zoos. Yes, you're safe from the animal where you're standing. But that animal is more than capable of killing you and your child in its own enclosure. One mother even held her toddler over the railing of a wild dog enclosure to help him get a better view. That situation ended tragically.
